Taguhi Mansuryan demands her ex-husband 35 years old Vladik Martirosyan to be sentenced to life imprisonment for killing her mother and attempting to assassinate her and her father. The trial has been going on for four years. The hearings were often postponed due to the health condition of the injured.
“Father beat my mother brutally after knowing that she was going to leave him. He broke mother’s nose and made her say that it was because of slipping on the ice, otherwise he would kill her,”- says E. Arakelyan, 16, who heard such threats and witnessed the violence against her mother for many times.
Naira Harutyunyan, 37, has been beaten and has been subjected to violence by her husband during 12 years of their marriage. Harutyunyan remembers that her husband never felt sorry for wrongdoing.” Once I told him that he made me invalid. In a reply, he said “I should kill a woman like you, not just beat”,” she recalls.
On the 5th of March, 2020, 43 year-old Marine Khachatryan and her daughter 13 year- old Nazeli Khachatryan were found severely beaten in their home in Gyumri, Armenia. Marine died 8 hours after being beaten, and Nazeli was taken to Gyumri Medical Center in a critical condition. Perpetrator, 28 years old man is Marine Khachatyuan’s intimate partner.
The femicide happened in Rustavi on March 6, 2014.

Oleg Shubitidze, 51, stabbed his wife, Bella Dzamsashvili, 37, multiple times.
Then he tried to help her.
He called police and ambulance, and waited for them instead of trying to escape.
He was arrested at the crime scene.
Dzamsashvili died in the hospital.

Iago Tsiklauri, 51, raped her when she was alone at home, and to hide the crime burned the body.
