It's been two years since the Salhi family left their home and moved to the Al-Kures area from Biskra, in an attempt to forget the tragedy that had happened to their daughter, a 20-year-old Hafida Salhi (Abeer), who was killed by a neighbor, Al-Omari Saeed.

Sofio Zurabashvili, 29, is a femicide survival, her husband hit her with an axe in her back and breast on February 25, 2015 in village Kiwia of Martvili. Kakha Gogia, 31, was arrested by a police force. Investigation has started under the article 108 of the criminal code, prefix 19-premeditated murder. Gogia was jailed for 4 years.

Nobody got arrested for an attempt of a woman murder on February 3rd, 2018. Nobody had to face trial and nobody was condemned or maybe even criticized.

26-year-old Beta Nachkebia was brutally murdered by her ex-husband, L.L., on January 18^th in his grandmother’s house in Surami, according to the official statement of the ministry of internal affairs. The investigation is still ongoing under Article 109 (2) (f) of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which means premeditated murder of a family member in aggravated circumstances and envisages from 14 to 17 years of imprisonment. Court hearing was scheduled in the end of March, however, it has been delayed because of the state of emergency declared by Georgian government to halt Coronavirus spread.

Ozgecan Aslan was a Turkish university student. She was brutally killed on 11 February, 2015 on a minibus in Turkish town of Mersin. Before being killed, it was revealed that she was resisting an attempted rape by her murderer.

Dilara Zeynalova, 37   was stabbed multiple times by her ex-husband Ceyhun Bahmanov,39 in February 1st  2020 in Baku, Azerbaijan.  Dilara Zeynalova  stays at  intensive care unit and her health condition  still remains serious.  A crime performed by her intimate partner, thought to be motivated by   religious motives to punish no obedient wife   for leaving   marital house in order to escape his controlling and possessive husband.

At about 11 am on 29 January, 16-year-old Fatima Gambarova was found dead in Hasanli village of Masalli, Azerbaijan. According to the Ministry of Interior Affairs and Prosecutor General’s Office, medicalexamination identified damages on neck, back, and right hand of the victim’s body. Examination’s initial conclusion is that the reason for the victim’s death was deficiency in respiration emerged from supposed squeezing in muscles in the neck side.

"My husband was not in Armenia. He was in Russia when my father-in-law broke into my room when I was half-naked and tried to abuse me.  Facing my resistance and fearing that I would tell everyone, he invents a story that he saw his daughter-in-law with another man."
