Released in January 2019, this report contains a general overview of the laws on sexual violence in the 15 countries of the former Soviet Union and analysis of gaps in the law and examples of practice allowing for impunity for perpetrators of sexual violence crimes. Detailed country profiles are also set out, which contain relevant excerpts from legislation in effect across Eurasia.
